Save the date and join us on Friday, May 16, as we visit Congregation Temple Bethel for an evening of Shabbat worship, song, good food, and renewed friendships.

Here are the details:

Friday, May 16

5:00 p.m. -- Bus leaves Or Ami

5:30 p.m. -- Dinner at Bethel as soon as we arrive

6:49 p.m. -- Candle Lighting

7:00 p.m. -- Service begins

Approximately 11:00 p.m. -- Bus leaves Bethel

We have arranged bus transportation for those who do not wish to drive. Please let us know as soon as possible if you plan to have dinner and/or take the bus. 

Several congregants have asked about driving on their own. Temple Bethel El is located at 7350 Lowber Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19138, in the Oak Lane section of Philadelphia. It’s a few blocks from Stenton Avenue & Washington Lane. The synagogue is located in a residential neighborhood and doesn’t have a parking lot, so it may be tough find a parking space.

You should also know that Temple Bethel is a conservative congregation and has a dress code. Please go to their website for more information: http://bethel-ph.org/home.htm.
