The purpose of the Volunteer Committee is to promote and increase volunteerism, to coordinate prospective volunteers with committees and projects in need of help, and to plan meaningful ways to honor and celebrate the achievement of our dedicated Or Ami volunteers. The Volunteer of the Year (“Keeper of the Flame”) award is given to one or two individuals each year who exemplify the spirit of volunteerism.
Congratulations to Myra Stern on being named this year's recipient of the "Keeper of the Flame" (Volunteer of the Year) award! Myra was honored, along with all of Or Ami's extraordinary volunteers, as part of the Volunteer Appreciation Evening.
